Our Mission Statement

The Kathryn Barnett School of dance is dedicated to:

The instruction of excellence in the performing arts.

The development of a solid sense of self-esteem through dance education and performance.

Inspiring young people to be the best they can be.

Furnishing opportunities to explore and appreciate dance and other aspects of the performing arts.

Dance Classes
We offer classes in classical ballet pre-school, modern, pointe, jazz, musical theater, tap, competition team, and adult dance. (Ballet technique classes are open to ALL students. Audition for level required.)

Traveling Troupe
A select group of performers compete in two dance competitions, as well as several community service and charity performances.

Master Classes
All students are invited to participate in Master Classes. This is an exciting way to work with the nation's leading teachers and choreographers.

Annual Showcase
Dance is a performing art. Performances need to be viewed to be truly appreciated. This year's annual recital is scheduled in June at the Performing Arts Center at Monmouth Regional High School. All students are invited to perform in this production.

Private Lessons
Available at a special rate. Please contact the school for more information. Cancellations of private lessons must be made 24 hours in advance or the student will be charged.
