Us
At the Kathryn
Barnett School of Dance you will find skilled and understanding teachers
and staff trained to ensure your child's dance training is a
positive experience. Your child's individual capabilities are observed and developed in a caring yet disciplined atmosphere.
Kathryn Barnett,
Director
Mrs. Barnett, a recipient of Who's
Who Among America's Teachers (1998, 2001 & 2005), holds a Masters
Certificate in Dance Education and is a NJ certified teacher for grades
K-12. Her students have been accepted to High School and College dance
programs, won scholarships, performed with professional dance companies,
and some have become dance instructors. Her positive energy has influenced
her students to achieve a well-rounded dance education as well as, a joy
in and appreciation of the arts. Mrs. Barnett has won numerous
choreography and entertainment awards and is a dance instructor at the
Red Bank Charter School and
First Friends -
Summer Friends Pre-school.

Karin Richman,
Assistant Director
Karin is a National Dance Champion and
Choreographer. She has students who have gone onto dance on Broadway, at
Carnegie Hall, and joined professional dance companies. Mrs. Richman
is celebrating more than 17 seasons with the Kathryn Barnett School of
Dance. She brings excitement to all her tap, jazz, and ballet classes.
Alice Wenzel,
Office Manager
Alice has been associated with the Kathryn Barnett School
of Dance for over 27 years. She is in charge of all accounting and
bookkeeping for the studio and is there to assist both parents and
students.
Gabrielle Barnett,
Instructor
An honors graduate of the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, Gabrielle holds a BFA in Jazz
Dance Performance, and concentrated much of her study on the intricacies
of choreography and theatre. With over ten years under her belt at KBSD,
she has also taught in dance studios and programs across NJ and most
notably at the National High School Dance Festival in 2008. Gabrielle is
also the Founder and Artistic Director of local company
Say Dance Collective.
Casey Stolowski, Instructor
Casey Stolowski is currently working for his BFA at the University of the
Arts for dance with a concentration in Jazz. Not only has he
choreographed and taught at The Kathryn Barnett School of Dance but has
performed in industrials, musicals, and other dance concerts. He was most
recently seen at Carnegie Hall with The Say Dance Collective.
Megan
Amitrani,
Instructor
Megan Amitrani has been an instructor
at the Kathryn Barnett School of Dance for four years. She is a BFA
Graduate of DeSales University, and is a Certified Zumba instructor.
Jessica
Berube
Jessica Berube
is a senior at George Mason University and brings her extensive knowledge
of Modern/Contemporary and ballet to the students at Kathryn Barnett
School of Dance.
Kristine Berube
Kristen Berube
danced at Kathryn Barnett School of Dance from age 2 through graduation
from High School. While studying to be elementary school teacher in
college, she has been a teacher, choreographer, and finally co-president
of Loyola College Dance Company. Today, Kristen feels fortunate to fulfill
her dream of working as a 6th grade Math teacher at Markham Place in
Little Silver and dance instructor at KBSD.
Sheryl Andrzeczak
Sheryl
Andrzeczak come to us via Carol Elaine's Dance Studio. Her talent in
instructing acrobatics and Hip Hop makes her a wonderful addition to our
facility.
